It's made from certified food-safe silicone and can withstand up to 500F, though we recommend using it up to 475F to maximize longevity.

The BreadMat reduces dark spots and encourages even baking on the bottom of your loaf. If it's still too dark, place a heavy baking sheet on the bottom rack as a heat shield to protect the mat and reduce darkening.
